How Project 2025
Would Disrupt The World

“We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless ― if the left allows it to be,” Kevin Roberts, president of Heritage Foundation.

2024 GOP Presidential Nominee Donald Trump Is Expected To Implement Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation’s vision for Transforming America Into A Christian Nation

Policies Overview

A playbook of actions to be taken during a 2nd Trump term

Dismantling Government

Project 2025 proposes that the entire federal bureaucracy, including independent agencies such as the Department of Justice, be placed under direct presidential control – a controversial idea known as “unitary executive theory”.
In practice, that would streamline decision-making, allowing the president to directly implement policies in a number of areas.
The proposals also call for eliminating job protections for thousands of government employees, who could then be replaced by political appointees.

Dismantling Autonomy

The plan would take away freedoms that Americans rely on by implementing nationwide bans on abortion and contraception, curtailing LGBTQ rights, and increasing corporate control over workers. It would redefine personal autonomy and freedom in America.

By restricting access to essential health care, permitting discrimination, and manipulating what students are taught, Project 2025 seeks to create a society where personal freedoms are subordinate to the interests of a select few.

Dismantling Civil Liberties

“The next conservative President must make the institutions of American civil society hard targets for woke culture warriors. This starts with deleting the terms sexual orientation and gender identity (‘SOGI’), diversity, equity, and inclusion (‘DEI’), gender, gender equality, gender equity, gender awareness, gender-sensitive, abortion, reproductive health, reproductive rights, and any other term used to deprive Americans of their First Amendment rights out of every federal rule, agency regulation, contract, grant, regulation, and piece of legislation that exists.“

“I have no idea who is behind it.”

2024 GOP Presidential Nominee

The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 is a road map for how a new far-right presidential administration can take over the country. The project contains four components: a 920-page book with far-right policy proposals, a personnel database of loyalists ready to replace tens of thousands of civil servants, a private online training center, and a plan for the first 180 days of a new administration.

“We are gonna, hopefully in 2024, take back the White House, and this organization (Heritage Foundation) is gonna play a major role in helping us figure out how to govern at the White House, at the Senate, at the House and all across our great country.”

Have Questions?

Frequently Asked
Questions

I’m a government employee. What does Project 2025 say about me?

Federal civilians are described as “…a largely underworked, overcompensated, and unaccountable federal civilian workforce.” page 53.

Does Project 2025 call for slashing overtime?

The plan is to allow companies the choice of giving workers the ability to accumulate paid time off instead of paying them overtime. In addition, greater flexibility would be given to companies to bend the rules around working time periods to avoid paying overtime during one of the weeks of the pay period. Bear in mind that Trump already has attacked overtime during his term. The U.S. Department of Labor announced during Trump’s presidency an overtime rule that set the salary threshold under which salaried workers are automatically entitled to overtime pay to $35,568 a year. The rule left behind millions of workers who would have received overtime protections under the much stronger rule, published in 2016, that the then-Trump administration abandoned.

Do I risk being fired if I am a government employee?

Yes. The reclassification of civil servants into political appointees (known as the Schedule F plan) is a top priority. The plan states, “In order to carry out the President’s desires, political appointees must be given the tools, knowledge, and support to overcome the federal government’s obstructionist Human Resources departments. More fundamentally, the new Administration must fill its ranks with political appointees.”
